Blue Options Benefit Plan Design No Longer Offered Effective 12/31/2017

BlueOptions is a benefit plan design that provided enhanced benefits for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) members who obtained care from Blue Choice PPO physicians recognized through the BlueCompare program for both quality-related and cost-efficiency performance.

Effective December 31, 2017, the Blue Options benefit plan product is no longer being offered as a product with BCBSTX.  Blue Compare for Physicians, the program that measures quality for certain specialties, will continue to provide performance reporting to physicians and members

Please note that the elimination of this benefit plan does not affect any other networks.
