Electronic Remittance Allowed Amounts: Issue Resolved

On Nov. 7, 2016 a News and Updates notification was published to alert you that, as of Oct. 24, 2016, the 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) began displaying incorrect allowed amounts at the service line. We are pleased to report that this issue has been resolved as of Nov. 14, 2016, and incorrect allowed amounts are no longer being displayed on the remittance. If you use a billing service or other vendor to receive the 835 ERA (HIPAA-standard transaction) on your behalf, please ensure they are aware of this announcement.
