BCBSTX Importance Notice: Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) File

August 19, 2016

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is experiencing intermittent issues posting Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) files. This does not impact all ERAs, but only a small percentage of files being posted.

As of July 20, 2016 providers may have encountered a delay in receiving an ERA file. It could take up to seven business days for the files to be corrected and made available to you on Availity®. BCBSTX is working diligently to resolve and expedite this issue in a timely manner.

If you have further questions regarding missing or rejected ERAs, please contact the BCBSTX Electronic Commerce department at 800-746-4614.
