BCBSTX Lifts Restrictions on Early Fills for Members with Prime Therapeutics

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests people have on hand an extra supply of their medications. We have lifted restrictions on getting early fills of specialty and non-specialty prescription drugs. That fill will be for the same quantity as the last prescription you filled. You can contact your pharmacy to ask for an early fill and any delivery options. They have approval to provide an early fill on most medications.

You can also use your 90-day supply benefits for covered non-specialty medications at select retail pharmacies or home delivery (mail order) . Log into Prime Therapeutics' website or call the number on your BCBSTX member ID card.
