Knox County Hospital Is No Longer in BCBSTX Provider Networks
As of Jan. 16, 2020, Knox County Hospital District in Knox City is no longer in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) provider networks.
This impacts the following networks:
- ParPlan
- Blue Choice PPOSM
- Blue EssentialsSM
- Blue Advantage HMOSM
We will do all we can to help you transition your care to in-network health care facilities. You have several ways to find in-network care:
- Visit Provider Finder®
- Log in to Blue Access for MembersSM
- Call the Customer Service number on your BCBSTX member ID card
If you’re being treated for a pregnancy, disability, acute condition or life-threatening illness, you may have continuity of care benefits. This means you may still be able to see your current doctor at Knox County Hospital District for a limited time after he or she goes out of network. Benefits for continuity of care are applied based on benefit plans.
